MICHAEL WINTERNESS

The Buried City was the first album that Izenzon von Ertegun produced for Michael Winterness. The composer only had a very small MIDI controller and a reduce amount of samples and VST, following his peculiar philosophy regarding the notion of musical instrument. Nevertheless, in the tracks Fragment of Itoku and Nyarlathotep, he used a small orchestra. The unforgettable landscape of this album, widely used as a soundtrack in films by Bahamut Limited Co., it has become a guideline for young composers such as John Maddox, Igor Frunze-Solkolnikov and Attilia Sembbene.
