MUSIC OF ERIKA RODESCU

Izenzon von Ertegun created this album with The Royal Bakunin Orchestra, as a personal meditation on Erika Rodescu's musical ideas. In what directions could Rodescu's work evolved, if she hasn't disappeared? He added recently discovered songs, like Blackaman Killers and Men, Air & Thing. Also a very strange version of Robert Johnson, by Charles Klame, and Rodescu's version of I Put a Spell on You. After this album, von Ertegun sold his Hypnotic Swan Studio and moved to Iceland.
